A fully chartered town planner, Cara specializes in residential, commercial, retail, and renewables development. She has been involved in the delivery of a number of allocated sites alongside local plan promotion work. This includes working with colleagues on the Waverley New Community in Rotherham.
Cara is committed to making the planning sector as inclusive as possible. She serves as the co-chair of the Yorkshire Young Planners Steering Committee and is a member of the Yorkshire Royal Town Planning Institute International Committee.
When she isn’t busy with planning efforts or attending committee events, Cara practices karate. You can often find her sparring or learning a new kata on the mats.
