Even as a kid growing up—from creating trenches in the gravel driveway during rainstorms and adding cardboard bridges to learning carpentry from his dad and shop—Stephen has always enjoyed building things. Now with more than 50 years of transportation experience, he’s been involved with project management, roadway and bridge design, program management, and business development.
As the quality assurance manager for our transportation projects in Florida, Stephen provides a consistent level of detailed review and verification of documents produced for our clients. One of his most memorable projects was the Fruitville Road Roundabout in Sarasota. It was an extremely urban environment with hotels and commercial businesses on all sides. Every foot of real estate mattered, and the developing properties required utility upgrades.
When he isn’t going over the fine details of transportation projects, Stephen enjoys cooking, especially breakfast on Saturday mornings, which he and his wife eat out on their back deck while listening to the birds and other wildlife.
